1. Who I am

This website is run by Dom Montoya, an independent web designer ("I," "me," or "my"). If you have questions about your information, email dominic@thedominicmontoya.com.

2. What I collect

Information you send me. When you fill out the contact form or email me, I receive what you choose to share, such as:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone number, business name, and current website, if you add them
• The plan you're interested in and anything you tell me about your business

Information collected automatically. This site doesn't use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools. Like most websites, the companies that deliver it may automatically process basic technical data, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request:

• Cloudflare hosts this website and protects it from attacks. It may process technical data and set cookies that are needed for security.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site, so your browser connects to Google's servers to load them.

3. How I use your information

• To reply to your message and answer your questions
• To prepare a quote and, if we work together, to build and look after your website
• To send invoices and keep basic business records
• To keep this website safe and working

I won't add you to a marketing email list unless you ask me to.

4. When your information is shared

I don't sell or rent your personal information. I only share it:

• With service providers that help me run my business, such as my email, hosting, form-processing, customer management (CRM), and invoicing providers, and only as needed for them to do their job
• If the law requires it, or to protect my rights, my clients, or the public
• With your permission

5. How long I keep it

I keep your information as long as I need it to reply to you, work on your project, and keep required business and tax records. If we don't end up working together, you can ask me to delete your message at any time.

6. Your choices

You can email me at dominic@thedominicmontoya.com to:

• Ask what information I have about you
• Correct information that's wrong
• Ask me to delete your information, unless I need to keep it for legal or tax reasons

I'll reply within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have other privacy rights under your local laws.

7. Keeping it safe

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, like using secure (HTTPS) connections and trusted service providers. No website or email system is 100% secure, though, so please don't send passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the contact form.

8. Children

This website is meant for businesses and adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent me information, email me and I'll delete it.

9. Links to other websites

This site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy doesn't cover them.

10. Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the date at the top of this page.
